COVID-19 Awareness

To ensure that Trek maintains zero fatalities, the company embarked on a COVID-19 vaccination awareness campaign, engaging our healthcare providers to vaccinate employees interested in getting their jabs with ease. The vaccination campaign is to ensure that all Trek stakeholders are safe and healthy, throughout these times. Let us continue to be vigilant.

Together we can fight this pandemic. July was the month the third wave emerged and subsequently the nation was put under lockdown to curb the rise in cases witnessed country wide. In light of this, Trek has remained vigilant in fighting the pandemic. The health and wellbeing of all staff members and customers is paramount and this led to quick disinfection of sites and isolation all confirmed cases. With the assistance of our diligent healthcare partners the company fortunately did not have any fatalities.

The New Normal

COVID-19 is merely biding its time, waiting for us to let our guard down. So continue to practice protective measures like physical distancing, masking up, and frequent hand washing. #STAY-SAFE

The Whole Nation Together Against COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is not over. In the absence of vaccines or medicines to stop COVID-19, one of the best methods to slow the spread of the virus is to wear a face mask, alongside hand-washing and practicing physical distancing. Masking up is a cheap, effective way of limiting the transmission of the disease. And while it’s not a cure-all (physical distancing is still key), Science shows that the more people that wear masks in public, the more we can slow the spread of COVID-19.

How do face masks help prevent the spread of COVID-19? COVID-19 is transmitted from person to person through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. These droplets can land in the mouths or noses of people who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. Masks provide a simple barrier to help prevent these respiratory droplets from spreading in the air. You should wear a mask to protect others in case you have the virus, and you should wear a mask to protect yourself.
